Xafecopy Trojan is being detected around 40% in India; said the Kaspersky lab experts in its recent report.
A New Malware Xafecopy Trojan Steals Money Via Mobile Phones
A report launched by the lap experts elaborates that: The experts also said the “Xafecopy Trojan” is actually disguised as a useful app with different names like BatteryMaster etc. The malware secretly loads some malicious codes onto the smartphones of the users. Once it is activated then the malware clicks on the web pages with “WAP” (Wireless Application Portal) billing which is a form of mobile payment that charges costs directly to the user’s mobile phone bill.
