On Saturday, a fire broke out at the headquarters of StormFiber. According to a report, it was an administrative floor which got blazed up. But, fortunately there have been no injuries or causalities reported yet. The authorities of StormFiber also reported that there was almost no damage to networking equipment or servers.

However, as a pre-emptive measure, the power systems including the primary and secondary UPS were temporarily switched off. The electric systems were also temporarily shut down. Due to which, there was a complete stoppage of power supply to the site. It resulted in unavailability of TV and internet connectivity in whole city. Recovery process was a swift one. The rescue team of StormFiber responded with full zeal and zest. They were able to recover most of the damage in one single night. It was an impressive endeavor made by the team. The TV and internet service was restored on Sunday morning. Although, the company admitted that the users may experience slow speed of the internet. However, there was another update from the company in which they stated that, “Our TV and phone services remain affected but our engineers are working around the clock to resume all services in the shortest time possible,”. They further added that, “these speeds should be back to normal as our network operations team increases traffic loads,”. check out? Therefore, the users have used social media platforms to register their complaints. The cause of the fire hasn’t been found yet. And the company is working to find it as soon as possible.
