Telenor Norway to Cut 170 Jobs to re-organize its broadband & technology divisions

Because this decision is the part of company’s digitization efforts. She said, The changes will implement from 1 April. The company also said those who will leave their job will be made redundant and offered severance packages. Svendsen added The company has 3,900 employees in 24 offices across Norway. Under this plan, all offices will remain open. Recently, Google has announced its partnership with Telenor to launch an advance messaging service, Rich Communication Service (RCS). RCS Messaging service will launch in different Countries of Europe and Asia. Initially, the service will be available for Android users only. Those Telenor subscribers who already have the Messenger app on their phone will automatically get access to RCS services through an app update. For those subscribers who don’t have the app can install the Messenger app from the Google Play store.
